The Tom Youngs Foundation celebrates Tom’s life and legacy by supporting those affected by bowel and liver cancer and multiple sclerosis, and by helping young people pursue their potential in sport and music. Through community events, donations, and bursaries, we strive to offer care, opportunity, and hope where it’s needed most.
Established in Tom’s name, the Foundation ensures that the kindness and dedication he showed throughout his life continue to make a meaningful difference for others.
The passing of Tom Youngs on Sunday 4 May 2025, at the age of 45, has deeply touched all who knew him: his family, friends, teammates, fans, and the wider footballing and local communities. Tom’s journey, marked by brilliance on the pitch and unwavering courage off it, continues to inspire. As a devoted footballer, a scholar, a family man, and later an advocate for those living with multiple sclerosis, Tom embodied integrity, humility, and dedication. His story is one of talent and perseverance, triumph and adversity, and, above all, meaningful connection.
The establishment of The Tom Youngs Foundation in his honour ensures that his values and legacy will carry forward, supporting others, just as Tom so readily did throughout his own life.
To raise funds and awareness in Tom Youngs’ name, provide practical and financial support to people affected by bowel and liver cancer and multiple sclerosis, and award bursaries to promising young footballers and musicians.
A kinder, better-supported community where those facing serious illness receive compassionate help and young talent can access the opportunities they need to thrive.
